Scuba Fins

Scuba fins are what divers typically use to propel themselves through the water. They are generally manufactured in “full foot” and “open heel” designs. Because there are so many variations in fin design, many people recommend trying several different styles before purchasing.

Different scuba fins have different design characteristics. Depending on your needs, fins can be found for speed, agility, power, or any number of combinations. For novice divers, finding a set of fins that offer an even combination is usually recommended.

When comparing scuba fins, there are a few things to take in to consideration. First and foremost, they should be comfortable to wear. Second, they should allow you to swim with the least amount of effort possible, to avoid cramping and leg fatigue.
